Comments - The Essential Lifeblood

I suppose I would consider myself a "writer" of sorts...since i write....albeit my writing that meets the light of day comprises of reviews on other's writing...but I doubt anyone would deny it is writing of sorts.

Now if a writer of my humble standing is experiencing that emotion called external validation, I can only begin to imagine what actual writers that are featured on this blog must feel once they update the latest chapter or write a new OS.

While it is understandable, that readers may not be moved to comment on this blog, but surely none of the pieces featured on this blog would leave readers unmoved. And while a lot of the readers have already read the pieces featured here, but there must be some who would be reading them for the first time and in case of the ongoing pieces, the updates would be read for the first time.

Each piece that we see is the result of time and effort, that someone out there takes out from their normal 36 hour working day full of a 72 hour work list so that nameless people across the globe can be entertained and can experience a parallel slice of their beloved show. None of them has any compulsion to do so. They just do it out of a love of writing, for the love of the unforgettable characters created by this remarkable show and for the love of their readers. Unrequited love is a sad and wasteful emotion and it would be a shame if any of the writers have to experience it due to their readers.

The creative heart of a writer needs the lifeblood of appreciation in the form of it's readers comments.

So a humble request please comment generously on each piece that you read.

And of course healthy discussions on the reviews featured on this blog are more than welcome.
